Priority is who you finish, not who is closest

Hitscan, projectile, and melee are different tools

Pair priority with aim smoothing and FOV customization. Wide FOV plus zero smoothing is how clips look robotic. Start narrow. Widen after a Practice Doom Match block, not in ranked.

You can. It will feel wrong. Hitscan, beams, and melee want different FOV and smoothing. Save per-hero or per-role profiles.
Should priority always be the closest enemy?
No. Closest is often a Vanguard body-blocking the cart. Priority should be the hero whose death actually opens the point.
Where do I test new priority lists?
Practice Doom Match or unrated. Ranked is a bad lab. Check Status after patches so you are not tuning an old build.
